The season of fall is famous for slow cooker recipes, soups, stews, and all kinds of comfort foods. One of my favorites for football Saturdays is a big bowl of chili. While there are many different styles and ingredients that can be used, I prefer a traditional beef chili.
This recipe can be made with a packet of your favorite chili seasoning but I suggest trying it with the seasoning blend recipe I created. It gives it a great flavor without any questionable ingredients.
Serve with your favorite toppings. I generally serve mine with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, and tortilla chips. Others use saltine crackers and top with raw onion. Enjoy however you like.
